100% Chardonnay. Since Yann chooses to classify everything as Vin de France, we’re not authorised to give the locations of the vine parcels, but just know that the wines of this talented, audacious vigneron come very close indeed to those from the most prestigious plots of the Côte de Nuits and Beaune. The vines are 40 years old, planted on clay-limestone soils, facing southeast, at an altitude of 400 metres. Vinification: the grapes are harvested by hand, followed by direct pressing, with zero additives. Matured 24 months in barrels that have seen 1 to 2 wines.
