100% Chardonnay from biodynamically farmed vines planted on the beautiful north-east facing Les Vireuils climat, in altitude, on top of the hill. Harvesting is done by hand with controlled yields. Natural vinification in Gevrey-Chambertin, in a wing of the Trapet estate: direct pressing, fermentation and aging in casks that have seen three wines and in a demi-muid with new oak. Bottled without fining or filtration.

Jean-Louis Trapet is part of a select circle of the 10 greatest vignerons of the Côte de Nuits. His family estate, founded by his great-grandfather in 1870, is composed of around 15 hectares of the most beautiful parcels around Gevrey.
