Pinot Noir from vines cultivated biodynamically and planted on an exceptional vineyard site between Romanée Saint Vivant, les Echezeaux and Richebourg. The grapes were harvested by hand. In the winery: some pumping over and light punching down of the cap are practiced to bring out the very best in the Pinot Noir from this great terroir. Fermentation is therefore carried out using indigenous yeasts, with gentle pressing, maturation for 15 months in barrels with a maximum of 45% new oak, then three months in vats before bottling.
Géraldine Godot has been the winemaker of Domaine de l'Arlot she succeeded Jacques Devauges in 2014. This Burgundy native, microbiologist, oenologist and graduate of the Jules Guyot Institute in Dijon is the leader of an impassioned team, all driven by the desire to produce truly great wines that offer the most authentic expressions of the terroirs of Domaine de l’Arlot.
