Saint Romain "Sous la Velle" - 2020 - Frédéric Cossard - Magnum
Domaine de Chassorney
A fine nose, with notes of red fruits... On the palate: elegance, freshness and length. A beautiful expression of the Pinot Noir grape, a lovely, fruit-forward bottle. Only available in magnums – so much the better!

100% Pinot Noir from vines grown organically and planted in the sector known as "Sous la Velle", which means ‘under the village’ in patois. A steep parcel, facing East. Manual harvest. Natural vinification: about three weeks of maceration of the whole bunches, soft pressing, 12 months of maturation in egg-shaped concrete vats. Bottled without fining or filtration, and without added sulphur.
