Beautiful tasting experience, this cuvée surprises with its freshness: on the nose, it evokes a slice of brioche spread with orange marmalade, followed by pear compote and a hint of red berries. The palate is mineral, with a slight roundness from the oak barrels, and a powerful finish.

A single-vineyard cuvée, 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay, from old vines planted between 1966 and 1968 by Michelle and Bernard Brémont on the Grand Cru of Ambonnay, grown on chalk-rich clay-limestone soils. Manual harvest in 15 kg crates, pressing in an automatic inclined-plate press, vinification in enamel and stainless steel tanks, with one-third aged in demi-muids and oak barrels. Pure 2017. Aged on fine lees for 8 months, then bottled and matured on laths for 7 years. Disgorged on the 6th of February 2025. Dosage: 4 grams per liter.

Thibaut Brémont
Thibaut Brémont, 58 years old, is the son of Bernard Brémont and has been running Champagne Bernard Brémont since 2012, following his father’s retirement. Founded in 1965 by Michèle and Bernard Brémont, this is a young but resolutely family-run House. Thibaut (who, fun fact, is the same age as the Beurys parcel — planted by his parents while Michèle was already pregnant!) was quite literally...
