A cuvée created by Bernard Brémont, a bold counterpoint to the traditional grape blend of the Ambonnay Grand Cru: it is composed of 70% Chardonnay (from 2020) and 30% Pinot Noir (from 2019). The vines grow on chalk-rich clay-limestone soils in the southeast of the Montagne de Reims. Manual harvest in 15 kg crates, vinification in tanks and large oak vats, ageing on fine lees. After tirage, the wine undergoes ageing on lees in bottle until disgorgment on the 19th of December 2024. Dosage: 4 grams per litre, it is an extra brut.

Thibaut Brémont
Thibaut Brémont, 58 years old, is the son of Bernard Brémont and has been running Champagne Bernard Brémont since 2012, following his father’s retirement. Founded in 1965 by Michèle and Bernard Brémont, this is a young but resolutely family-run House. Thibaut (who, fun fact, is the same age as the Beurys parcel — planted by his parents while Michèle was already pregnant!) was quite literally...
