Champagne
Dizy Corne Bautray - 2014 - Champagne Jacquesson
Jean-Hervé & Laurent Chiquet
An immense Blanc de Blancs, with notes of dried fruits. Even more rounded than the legendary Avize Champ Caïn cuvée, it boasts complex aromas and a grand, mineralesque, saline finish. A taut, mineral-driven Champagne, generous yet precise, with a beautiful fine and lively effervescence.

A Chardonnay cuvée from vines planted at Corne Bautray, one of Jacquesson’s famous vineyard sites. The 1-ha parcel is situated on top of a steep slope, facing southwest, and planted in 1960 at a high density of 9000 vines/ha. The soil is clayey, mixed with millstone rocks and over Campanian era chalk. The grapes were harvested by hand on the 2nd of October 2014. This champagne was aged for more than 9 years on its lees, and was disgorged in February 2024 with a dosage of 0.5 gr/L. Low sulfites. This is an extra-brut.
