100% Pinot Noir from vines planted on the Grand Cru of Ambonnay, on chalk-rich clay-limestone soils in the southeast of the Montagne de Reims. Manual harvest in 15 kg crates, pressing in an automatic inclined-plate press, vinification in enamel and stainless-steel vats, demi-muids and barrels. Aged 8 months on lees, then tirage and 4 years of bottle ageing on lattes before disgorgement on May 16, 2024. Dosage: 4 grams per litre. A vintage cuvée made exclusively from the 2019 harvest, though the vintage is not stated on the label.

Thibaut Brémont
Thibaut Brémont, 58 years old, is the son of Bernard Brémont and has been running Champagne Bernard Brémont since 2012, following his father’s retirement. Founded in 1965 by Michèle and Bernard Brémont, this is a young but resolutely family-run House. Thibaut (who, fun fact, is the same age as the Beurys parcel — planted by his parents while Michèle was already pregnant!) was quite literally...
