Roussillon
Nose carried by notes of crushed fruit, strawberry, cherry, blackberry, sweet spices, pepper, just a hint of black olive... A juicy wine, lots of finesse, very beautiful balance.
70% Grenache Noir and 30% Mourvèdre, from vines grown organically. The young vines of Mourvèdre are planted in Banyuls and the Grenache on the hills of Port-Vendres, facing the sea, on soils of black shale. Manual harvest on the 9th of August 2022, with yields around 15 hl/ha. Vinification: semi-carbonic maceration in stainless steel vats for 12 days. Soft pressing, aging in barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled at the Estate without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur.

Today, our taste buds are thrilled that she did! She may be petite, but she cultivates some of the most difficult plots in France. Her steep slopes are completely incompatible with mechanised farming, so she depends instead...
