A Champagne in homage to Saint Anne, the saint patron of Merfy village. A few words from the winemaker: “Often initially opulent on the palate, the salts from the sands then give rise to a salivating bitterness. The finish leaves a tight structure that recalls the origin of Champagne wines."

Majority of Chardonnay, supplemented with Pinot Noir, the vines are planted on each of the Merfy plots owned by the estate, on clay, sandy or more calcareous soils. Differentiated vinification of each of the plots, almost two years of aging in barrels of 250, 300 and 2000 liters, for the 2014 wine, and a small part of the reserve wines from two to five years old has aged in vats. Bottled in July 2016, aged on laths, disgorged in April 2022, dosage at 7 grams per litre, no filtration.

Alexandre Chartogne is at the head of the Maison de Champagne Chartogne-Taillet, whose traces of winemakers in the family date back to 1490 with Nicolas Taillet and then Fiacre Tailler in 1540.
