Sempre Cuntentu meaning Always Happy... This is the cuvée we got a crush on, and the one wich pushed us to reference the Estate at Pur Jus! Nose on blueberry, nice volume in the palate, an impression of sweetness, all held together by silky tannins.
100% Sciaccarello from organically grown vines planted on granitic soils in the village of Casta, North of Corsica. Manual harvesting, sorting of the grapes in the vineyard, controlled yields. Natural vinification without inputs: 100% de-stemmed, 10 days of maceration in stainless steel vats with gentle pump-overs, soft pressing, blending of the free-run and the press juice. 8 months of maturation on fine lees in stainless steel vats. Not fined or filtered, bottled at the Estate with just a micro dose of sulfur.
