Vaccelli Blanc - 2020 - Nathalie et Gérard Courrèges
Domaine de Vaccelli
Floral expression on the nose, quickly followed by notes of buttered apples, citrus, garrigue... Elegant, mineral and strctured mouthfeel, good freshness and finish on fine bitters. Very nice ageing potential.

A 100% Vermentino cuvée from organically grown vines, planted on deep sandy granitic soils, on a cooler terroir than the other white grape varieties parcels of the Estate. Manual harvest and controlled yields. Vinification: indigenous yeasts, direct pressing, one year of aging in 500-liter demi-muids on total lees (about 10% new oak), then six months in 12 hectoliters casks. Bottled at the Estate during Spring 2022.
