100% Chardonnay from 20-year-old vines planted on clay-limestone soils in the commune of Montbellet. Hand-harvested. Vinification: the grapes are lightly crushed, direct pressing, natural settling by gravity in vats, then transferred to 228-liter barrels (no new oak) for fermentation and one year of aging on the lees. Bottled at the estate without fining or filtration, without any added sulfites.
