100% Pinot noir from organically grown vines of 40 years old, planted on a magnificent parcel. A climat which yields are the most powerful and robust Volnay Premier Cru. Manual harvest and natural vinification without additives: maceration of the whole clusters, aging for 12 months in egg-shaped concrete vats. Neither fined, nor filtered, bottled without added sulphur.

Aurélien Verdet is a Burgundian vigneron based in Arcenant, in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, where he had already been developing his own estate before taking over Domaine de Chassorney, founded in 1996 by his longtime friend Frédéric Cossard.
