A very expressive nose of small red berries and beautiful floral aromas. A rich and concentrated palate, structured and juicy, with fine red fruit flavours. A magnificent wine offering a pure expression of its terroir.
100% Pinot Noir from vines farmed organically and planted in 1999 at the Les Clusers vineyard site (27-ares) in Prémeaux-Prissey, on clay-limestone soils. Harvested by hand with careful sorting in the vineyard and cellar. Vinification: all the work is done by gravity – a few days of cold maceration with 100% destemmed grapes, some pumping over, gentle pressing, and malolactic fermentation in barrels, followed by maturation in barrels (25% are new oak) for 12 months, and racking and blending in vats. Bottled at the estate.
