An exceptional cuvée, a wine for meditation, a rare emotion that will take you on a journey between walnut, quince, citrus fruits, spices, resinous wood, oxidative notes... The palate is long, toasted, slightly lemony, with all of the complexity of the nose. Be patient, you will be rewarded!

100% Chardonnay, a cuvée produced from grapes purchased to Guy Blanchard (hence the pun on the cuvée!), from vines grown organically and planted on the Perrières plot, in the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. Manual harvest at the end of September 2011, the grapes were super ripe. Natural vinification, slow and long fermentation in barrels, over several years. Nearly eight years of aging in barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled in July 2019, there were no residual sugars. No fining, filtration or added sulfites.

Philippe Jambon has been settled in Chasselas since 1997. Former sommelier, he is one of our most committed vignerons, working just a small vineyard of around 5 ha. He chose his parcels in part based on how isolated they were from other vineyards – the further the better! Philippe had figured out early on that it was pointless to be clean and chemical-free in your vines if the neighbour is...
