Sauvignon - 2022 - Frantz Saumon
Un Saumon dans la Loire
A nose that’s redolent of grapefruit, yellow plums, and exotic fruits... The palate: beautiful density balanced by freshness – as always – and a mineral finish. An absolute delicacy.

A négociant cuvée, 100% Sauvignon, from certified organic grapes grown in St-Aignan-sur-Cher in the Loire Valley and from the Gers region. The vines are 40 years old on average. In the winery: direct pressing, fermentation and maturation in stainless steel vats and in fiber vats. Unfined, unfiltered, and bottled at the Estate in February 2023 with a micro-dose of sulphur.

Frantz Saumon
Frantz Saumon is one of those winemakers who are already well established on their terroir, but who actually arrived in the wine world by chance... Originally from Berry, this former forester who worked in Canada gave up everything to devote himself to his passion. This is the 90's... what a long way we have come! At this time, Frantz follows the very famous oenological formation of Amboise....
