Deep, intense red robe. A fine, elegant nose opening on aromas of small red fruits—strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant... The palate shows great complexity, with silky, well-coated tannins, carried by a very pretty length that lingers on slightly roasted, toasty notes.

Cabernet Franc from vines aged 55 to 70 years, organically farmed and planted on 5 parcels (a total of 2 hectares) with three distinct terroirs. First, the small alluvial mounds of the Vienne valley, with gravel, clay, and limestone. Then, a very old parcel rooted in sandy soils. And finally, clay-gravel soils that bring another layer of complexity. Natural vinification: gravity-fed work in the cellar, maceration in cement vats with light, daily pump-overs. 12 months of ageing on fine lees in those same vats. Just a micro-dose of sulphur.
