Rhône Valley
Côte Rôtie "So' Brune" - 2023 - Maison Stephan
Jean-Michel Stéphan

Blended cuvée of 80% Syrah and 20% Viognier from organically farmed vines planted in 1994 on the upper slopes of the Côte Brune, on terraced soils showing a terroir of mica-schist and ancient Rhône alluvium. Manual harvest, with yields kept under control. Vinification with indigenous yeasts, carbonic maceration, 12 months of ageing in old oak barrels from the Allier forest. Unfined, unfiltered, bottled at the estate with no added sulphites.
