The second vintage of this cuvée which was first produced in 2015. 100% Chardonnay, from old vines planted in the 1950s and 1990s, on two parcels of limestone scree over Triassic clay, at a vineyard site known as Les Nouvelles. Whole bunches of grapes are direct pressed, followed by fermentation and maturation for 16 months in 400-litre barrels that have seen several wines. Neither fined nor filtered, and just a microdose of sulphur (one gram/hectolitre) at bottling.
