Les Trouillots - 2021 - Valentin Morel
Les Pieds sur Terre
A wine for the thirsty - this almost feels like a cherry/cranberry juice, very, very fruity. On the palate: light, fluid, discreet tannins, tart, it goes down easy! Ideal after exercise! Finish on earthy notes. Decanting is recommended one hour before serving.

The three grape varieties of the Trouillots plots have been blended for the 2021 vintage because of the frost: 40% Trousseau, 40% Pinot Noir, and 20% Poulsard, from 40-year-old vines grown organically on clay soils. Hand-harvested and naturally vinified: part of the harvest is de-stemmed, the three grape varieties are macerated separately, gently pressed, the juices are blended after alcoholic fermentation, and aged in stainless-steel vats. Bottled at the estate on the 1st of August 2023 without fining, filtration or any addition of sulfites.
