Cabernet Franc from vines farmed organically (though not certified) and planted around 1970 in Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg, at the vineyard site "Les Perrières", in the heart of the Saumur-Champigny appellation, with alluvial soils over a clay-limestone base. Harvesting is done by hand. Natural vinification: the grapes are destemmed, followed by 15 days of maceration with little extraction, and 6 months of maturation in vats. Bottled in Spring 2025 without fining, filtration, without added sulfites. One year of maturation in bottles in the estate's cellar.

Sophie and Clément Maire-Kurdziel, just in their early forties, are respectively from Moselle and Aveyron in France, and met at the university in Montpellier. Both became oenologists, they worked for large Estates in France and abroad, before returning to the Loire Valley.
