Vin de Frantz Colombard - 2022 - Frantz Saumon
Un Saumon dans la Loire
Gourmet, expressive nose of pineapple, passion fruit and pear, with a hint of minerality... The palate is initially crisp and fruity, then opens generously with a creamy mouthfeel, nicely balanced thanks to that little kick of acidity.

100% Colombard from 50-year-old organic vines planted on clay-limestone soils in the Gers region, South-West of France. Harvested by hand and vinified naturally: direct pressing, vinification and ageing in stainless steel and concrete vats. Bottled in January 2024 without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur.
Frantz Saumon
Frantz Saumon is one of those winemakers who are already well established on their terroir, but who actually arrived in the wine world by chance... Originally from Berry, this former forester who worked in Canada gave up everything to devote himself to his passion. This is the 90's... what a long way we have come! At this time, Frantz follows the very famous oenological formation of Amboise....
