Chardonnay En Barberon - 2023 - Domaine André et Mireille Tissot
Stéphane Tissot
A generous, warm vintage with beautiful textures, this 2023 offers a very fruity nose at first, evolving towards spicy and smoky notes typical of clay soils. Full-bodied, voluminous, smooth, spicy, and long on the palate, with beautiful noble bitterness on the finish and a lemony sensation.

100% Chardonnay from young 5-year-old vines, grown biodynamically and planted on a 2-hectare plot facing East-West, with Bajocian limestone soils on the surface, laid on Lias marl. Vines are fully plowed, with compost and herbal teas added. Bottled at the estate without fining or filtration, without the addition of sulfites.
