Les Bruyères - 2022 - Stéphane Tissot

Domaine André et Mireille Tissot

An intense Chardonnay, with lingering vegetal notes and a hint of lime. The palate is powerful, fruity and concentrated, yet with beautiful balance and lovely bitter notes that linger over a long finish.

100% Chardonnay from vineyards cultivated biodynamically (the whole estate is certified by Biodyvin) planted on a .95-hectare plot of Triassic-period clay over a bedrock of blue marl, facing south. Made from grapes harvested by hand, followed by direct pressing, and two years of maturation in Burgundy oak barrels. Bottled without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur.
