What an incredible wine, what a slap in the face! The nose is intense, with oxidative notes of orange peel, almonds, honey and walnuts, much like a vin jaune from the Jura. Palate: enormous volume, a long finish... take your time, this is a wine for meditation!

100% Viognier from organic vines, planted on the La Prince plot. Manual harvesting and very special vinification on this cuvée: direct pressing, transfer of the juices into barrels, which will not be topped up throughout the aging period. The wine is therefore aged like an oxidative wine for seven years, under a veil of yeast that forms on the surface of the wine. Bottled at the estate in Spring 2023 without fining or filtration.

Nicolas Renaud is a thirty-something winemaker settled since 2007 just next to Tavel and Avignon.
