Emma - 2022 - Patrice Delthil
Domaine Calimas
A tribute to Patrice’s grandmother, "a peasant like me!". The nose is mineral, with notes of redcurrant, and flowers. Palate: Palate: an even more vinous rosé than in previous vintages, this is definitely a favorite.

A blended cuvée of 60% Carignan, 30% Grenache Gris and 10% Macabeu. The vines are grown organically and harvested by hand. Separate vinification of the three grape varieties: direct pressing for Carignan and Macabeu, one week of carbonic maceration of the whole bunches for Grenache Gris. Blended at the end of fermentation, then aged for 10 months, 80% in amphorae and 20% in vats. Bottled at the estate without fining or filtration, without any added sulfites.
