An Extra Brut Rosé with strong character and a nuanced aromatic palette, with notes of red fruits and spices... Palate: a voyage of flavours from cherries and raspberries to rhubarb, very vinous, fresh and balanced.
A Rosé Champagne blended primarily from Chardonnay (93%) from the Chouilly, Montgueux, and Essoyes crus and 7% Pinot Noir from the Riceys cru. Composed mainly of wine from the 2019 harvest, vinified and matured in barrels, with the Pinot vinified as a red. A cuvée disgorged in July 2022 with 3,5 gr/liter of dosage. The estate is farmed organically and biodynamically, certified by ECOCERT and DEMETER. No chemical fertilisers, no herbicides, etc... and the wines are vegan!
Frédéric Zeimett is the man in charge at Maison Leclerc-Briant. Beforehand, he’d spent 11 years at Moët, 2 at Pommery and was managing director of Michel Chapoutier’s wine empire for 2 years as well, quite the CV!
