La Grande Côte - 2021 - Pascal Cotat

Domaine Pascal Cotat

A powerful, chiselled, wide-shouldered wine, with notes of white fruits. A majestic wine, elegant, smooth and mineralesque. The only problem is that you're going to drink it too fast... This immense Sauvignon deserves to be aged in your cellar 5 to 10 years.

100% Sauvignon, harvested perfectly ripe, from a legendary vine parcel, planted on calcareous and marl soil. This parcel is harvested each year just after Les Monts Damnés. Harvest lasts 5 days for the 2.3 hectares that make up the estate, and the grapes reach up to 14.6 degrees potential alcohol. The estate produces 18000 bottles per year, exported to 24 countries, of which the seven importers in America alone take 5000 every year... These wines are rare!
