Abyss is a brut zéro (zero dosage) champagne, a blend of 1/3 Pinot Meunier, 1/3 Pinot Noir and 1/3 Chardonnay, from the Bisseuil and Vrugny crus. It’s composed of wine from the 2017 vintage. A cuvée bottled inn July 2019, disgorged in July 2021, then submerged 60 meters underwater for 10 month in the Stiff Bay at the Isle of Ouessant. The estate is farmed organically and biodynamically, certified by ECOCERT and DEMETER. No chemical fertilisers, no herbicides, etc.... and the wines are vegan!
