Chardog - 2022 - François de Nicolay
Domaine Chandon de Briailles

100% Chardonnay from 18-year-old vines grown organically and planted on a 0.8 hectare plot, facing East / South-East, on blue marl soils. Manual harvest at maturity, with controlled yields. Natural vinification: direct pressing, settling by gravity, indigenous yeasts, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in 500-liter oak barrels that have seen four wines. Aging: half in casks and half in vats. Bottled without fining or filtration, and without added sulfites.
